Louise Johnston is a Chicago-based interior designer who has merged her background in design and business to establish a design firm that focuses on creating unique living environments. Louise believes that a home should reflect the personalities of its inhabitants and function for the type of lifestyle they lead.
Louise Johnston Design has transformed multiple spaces for the hit HGTV show Kitchen Crashers.
Services range from color and product consultation to full service design which considers every element of the home.
As design coordinator with Schatz Development, Louise has worked with some of the top names in architecture, notably Murphy Jahn, on the 600 North Fairbanks condominum tower, and Krueck + Sexton.
A native of Ireland, she received a Bachelors Degree in Business and French from the University of Limerick and continued her education at Chicago’s Harrington College of Design graduating with an Associates Degree in Interior Design. When she isn’t working, Louise enjoys photography, running and spending time with friends and family.
